Arc Minerals in Kalahari Copperbelt, Botswana

A regional interpretation of the geology of Arc Minerals license area with the two licenses marked in red. Below is a cross section of the geology ( A - A' ) indicating where the nearby deposits have been located.  Here's a slideshow of Arc's region of the KCB which shows the nearby discoveries (in red) and the Cu-Ni anomalies highlighted by the soil geochemical analysis, which are currently being drilled. It's pretty clear that the anomalies are over the boundaries between the formations, where other discoveries have been identified. 02/12/2022 Khoemacau are looking to expand the current mine area and one of their priority targets, based on EM survey data and geologic interpretation, is the 'Banana Peel' area. Here is an overlay of their map with Arc Minerals probable drill locations (from satellite images): You can see that Arc's drilling is an extension of the Banana Peel target area (red dotted line). Our area of interest is mid-way between 'South D

As a disclaimer, I should state that what is posted here is purely my own interpretation of the data we have available to us. It is not to be taken as THE interpretation but it is one that fits the pieces of the puzzle together in a way that makes sense to me.  Some Background First, I think it's worth having a look at the topography of our licenses and the surrounding areas: The colour scale is white through to blue indicating high to low altitude. A couple of things jump out immediately;  Large scale faulting around the dome which is one of the main factors affecting the location of sulphide deposits, creating pathways for the migration of mineral rich brines. The nearby Sentinel and Enterprise deposits are on fault zones, as are most of Arcs major targets. The boundary of Arcs license areas is quite clearly defined in the topography, particularly in the south and east
